Summer is slowly winding down and we are moving back into our fall routines. Over the summer I had the opportunity to listen and learn from some of the best minds in exercise physiology and nutrition in the industry today. It struck a nerve when I discovered people are still not choosing to live an active and healthy lifestyle. But on the other hand there is a quiet revolution happening. Things are changing. Not only are people wanting to move more, they are wanting to eat cleaner.

The past few weeks I have personally spent living a cleaner diet and it has done wonders for my skin energy, digestion, mood, and overall metabolism. Pair this with quality exercise that makes you feel strong and you have a healthier you. It doesn't matter if you have pythons for biceps or a six pack you can wash clothes on. Ultimately if your interior is not getting the same amount of love as your exterior, all of the physical hard work will go to waist. Let's all make an effort to make healthy eating choices.

Our new 45 minute class designed with the HITT ideals (high intensity interval training). Timed movements involving cardio, weight conditioning, balance, and agility Compete with yourself as you improve your fitness levels. Bring indoor shoes if you feel more stable in them. 8 per class, RSVP early. Check for days & times.

First Dance
First Dance
Spending time at the conference this year, was a great opportunity to listen to inspirational speakers, doctors, coaches, and kinesiologists and absorb great info for you. Here are some shots of this event!

First Dance
Jasmine Fiore had a wonderful event called Heal Stretch Grow at the Shanti Retreat. It was a lovely time and the women looked like they were really enjoying the support and exercise. I am so glad that TAB could be involved. Please check out the photos as they are pretty amazing


Balance Break

I can't prescribe a particular diet because due to body type, age, genetics, etc. our needs are different. But the one thing we can do is be conscious of what we are putting in our bodies. Whole foods, organic when possible and lots of dark green vegetables are great--if they are in-season, even better. And try using good fats like avocado, hummus, nuts and coconut oil.

I am not suggesting to abandon every comfort food you love but choose those moments wisely. So go easy on the sugar, dairy, wheat, and, alcohol.

Over the past few weeks I have personally spent time living with a cleaner diet and it has done wonders for my skin, energy, digestion, mood, and overall metabolism.

Try putting something new on your plate and your digestive system will thank you. Mine did!
