As we move into September and return to our schedules keep in mind that this is the hardest time to remember to continue your wellness regime. It will get a little stressful as things move faster. Days seem shorter and rest gets harder. So, do yourself a favour—remember how important it is to take care of you!

As we move into fall I wish you a healthy and steady transition into your regular routines. Here is a power smoothie recipe to keep you going!


1 avocado
1cup mango
1 cup pineapple
1/2 cup spinach
1-2 cups of water

Add protein powder or chia seeds if you like. Puree in a blender Enjoy! Make sure you blend the spinach leaves completely as it is a bit of a surprise to have a leaf in your mouth while drinking a tasty treat. If your taste buds require a little more of a sweet taste, just add a bit more fruit. Smoothie’s are great because they give the body a little zing before a workout without making you feel too full! They can also provide a great healthy snack during the day.
